Tosser Magazine Launch Party at Gem Boston

2:30 PM

Tuesday night my boyfriend and two of my girlfriends attended the Tosser Magazine Launch party at Gem Boston. This was our first time visiting Gem and it probably won't be our last! We had a really great time enjoying drinks from the bar and chatting people up.

Gem is located between Park Street station and Goverment Center station in downtown Boston. It's got great ambiance and the lush red booths were the perfect place to catch up with my friends and enjoy our drinks. It was a full house Tuesday night but that didn't stop the bar from serving drinks (about $11 each) efficiently. I never had to wait too long before I got the attention of the bar tender.

There is a main area with a few tables near the bar and a larger area towards the back where the DJ was set up. Be prepared to wait in line for the bathroom, ladies. It's a tight squeeze and there are only two stalls. Bathroom sitch aside, this was a really great place to enjoy a Tuesday night.

Tosser Mag editor-in-chief Asha Isabella put together a great evening and drew a great crowd. She gave a short speech and the party began! Party goers celebrated by drinking "The Tosser," a custom cocktail named after the magazine, and enjoyed apps and snacks from the Gem kitchen.

Boyfriend cut my head off :P

I'm wearing a Talbots sheath tank, Mango leather skirt, Ralph Lauren boots, Club Monaco earrings, and a Fendi baguette bag.
