Two Ways To Wear: A Tulle Ballet Skirt

5:28 PM

The minute I laid eyes on this tulle skirt at Loft, I knew I had to have it. While I do have a longer black tulle skirt, this short ivory one is much more playful and manageable (very important when you're riding the subway in layers of tulle!).

This skirt is lined with a grey jersey fabric which lends a comfy and casual feel, but it does stick to my hosiery a bit so Winter ballerinas beware! It is a tad short, so taller girls may find this skirt won't work for them. On the contrary, shorter gals will be happy to know this skirt does come in petites and is still available in sizes 00-2P and 12P. It appears to be sold out online but you can still search their site to shop for your size locally.

I love this skirt so much I've already worn it twice! For both looks I stuck with a neutral color palette. With such a statement making skirt I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple and ladylike. Which look do you prefer?

I paired both outfits with my new favorite JoJoLovesYou Party Bling earrings. I'm wearing the vanilla sparkle, but there are so many gorgeous colors to choose from. They're having their annual Bling sale right now so it's the perfect time to add a little Bling to your look. Head to their site to score 3 pairs for $60, and select styles 3 for $50!
