Violet VoxBox Review

They say good things come in small packages and this Violet Vox Box from Influenster was no exception! It was packed with some of the newest products to hit drugstore shelves and I was definitely excited to try them out.

Goody Athletique Ouchless Headband, $6: Maybe I have a small head, but I found this headband to be a little too big. It has adjustable velcro tabs in the back, but adjusting it to the size I need causes the velcro to snag the quick-dry fabric. Other than that, I really like this headband. It's meant for use during your workout but I like to use it when washing my face. The wide band keeps all of my hair back and out of the sink.

SoyJoy Fruit Bar, $12.99/12pack: Gluten-free, packed with soy and other healthy fruits this bar was almost too good to believe... and then I tasted the banana flavored bar I received. It's not bad, but it's not really something I'd reach for out of the pantry. Slightly dry, kind of chunky, I wasn't impressed enough to consider purchasing a box.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine Nail Polish, $4.59: I'm a very dedicated gel nail polish user so this didn't intrigue me much. I wasn't really a fan of the glittery blue color I received either so I gave it as a holiday stocking stuffer.

Goody QuikStyle Paddle Brush, $12.99: This brush is awesome! I don't even care that I didn't love the other products in this box because this brush really stole the show. It has microfiber bristles in between it's synthetic bristles that pull water from wet hair to decrease drying time. I towel dried my hair like normal and it still felt a little heavy but after brushing my hair with the QuikStyle brush it was noticeably lighter. As someone who likes to let her hair dry naturally this brush is a god send; no more soaking wet spots on the back of my t shirt!

Have you heard of any of these new drugstore products? Will you consider purchasing any of them? Let me know what you think!
