What I Wore: White Mountain Shoes

8:02 PM

When it comes to affordable footwear, I often find myself sorely disappointed in the materials or quality but after trying two pairs from White Mountain Shoes and Rialto Shoes (owned by White Mountain Shoes) I have been pleasantly surprised.

The Melinda Sandal from Rialto Shoes was my go-to summer sandal last season. It had the perfect height heel appropriate for everything from work, to brunch, to dinner with the girls. I loved the gold detailing on the inside of the heel, it was definitely something different. I wore them over and over again, as evidenced on the blog. While my sandals have since been put into storage, the Special Navy Bootie has recently made it's way into my closet and I'm obsessed. I love the genuine suede upper and the durable rubber sole. Perfect for the city streets! I recently wore them for drinks at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel and an impromptu visit to the Boston Public Library.

Not only do White Mountain Shoes come at incredible prices, but I was very impressed when customer service sent me a replacement pair after losing the plastic heel cap on my beloved Melinda Sandals. It's too often that lower-priced companies almost completely abandon quality customer service post-purchase!
