A Night on the Town with Al Fresco Gourmet + The Ellie Fund!

4:48 PM

Oh my god you guys, TOM BRADY! Rewind to last Wednesday when Al Fresco Gourmet invited me to join them in support of the Ellie Fund at the annual Kelley for Ellie Fashion Show at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. I was excited to attend; I love getting dressed up and I'm proud to support various philanthropic efforts in the Boston area.

When we arrived I met up with fellow Boston bloggers Georgina of A Noted Life and Savath from City Style Scene. We sipped prosecco before the show and mixed and mingled with the other attendees while nibbling on bites prepared by the Oak Long Bar + Kitchen and Al Fresco, of course.

Jay Godfrey Dress via Max & Riley  //  Lucky Brand Leather Moto Jacket  //  Uno De 50 Crystal Skull Earring c/o Uno De 50 (only one earring though, cause I lost the other one, similar)  //  Converse All Star Sneakers  //  BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Gazpacho c/o Influenster  //  Uptini by DryBar c/o Al Fresco Gourmet

We took our seats and the show began; Susan Wornick and Kelley Tuthill announced the arrival of a very special guest. OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, TOM BRADY! He came on stage (looking as handsome as ever in khaki slim fit-chinos and black frame glasses) and began tossing signed footballs into the crowd for those willing to donate over $1000 to the Ellie Fund. Those donating $2500-$5000 also received hugs from Tom. That man has such a good heart and I'm so happy to see him supporting local causes like the Ellie Fund.

Once all the signed footballs were gone, Tom left the stage and a fashion show by REISS followed featuring talent from WCVB. It was a very successful night; The Ellie Fund raised over $70,000 to support those battling breast cancer in the greater Boston area! Special thanks to Al Fresco Gourmet, DryBar, and The Ellie Fund for such a memorable evening.
