What I Wore: Back to School with H&M Harvard Collection

1:47 PM

Last week was a busy one! Students flooded Boston as they returned to their respective colleges and universities and back to school shopping was in full swing. Just in time for the students return to campus, H&M unveiled their Harvard Collection; available exclusively in 55 stores and hm.com. The Harvard Collection features t-shrits, sweaters, sweatpants, and a hat ranging from $12.99-$24.99.

To celebrate the launch, H&M at 100 Newbury Street and the babes at HerCampus.com held an all day soiree for the new line featuring custom monogramming, goodie bags, a live DJ, and more. I stopped by to check out the festivities and shop the collection and couldn't resist doing a little fall shopping while I was there. H&M sweetened the deal for students by offering 25% off to students with a valid ID. That offer is available until 9/15 so
make sure to you get in all your back to school shopping before the week is over!

H&M Flannel Dress c/o H&M & HerCampus.com  //  Frye Sienna Buckle Flats  //  Frank + Oak Leather Backpack (similar)

This black and white flannel was in the same section as the H&M Harvard Collection and is my idea of a Fall wardrobe staple. I wore it as a dress and paired it with black leather accessories for brunch, but you can also leave it open and layer it like I did here in my interview with HerCampus co-founder Windsor Hanger Western. With the 25% student discount this dress is under $19! Even students on a budget can afford to treat themselves to something new at H&M. Stay tuned, I'm sure you'll see me wearing this dress on repeat throughout the season. I've already worn it twice since I bought it!
