Review: Sili Forever Ice Watch

6:13 PM

A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway over at BeautyXpose.com and like many other giveaways, I entered and forgot about it. A few days later Kristen from BeautyXpose.com was emailing to tell me I had won a white Sili Forever watch from Ice Watch! I had been thinking about getting a white ceramic watch for a while but never got around to it. I'm glad I held off because I love this Ice Watch!

It has a silicone band, is water resistant (up to 10 ATM), and has a simple unisex design. It's sporty, but has a classic analog display unlike the Baby-Gs of decades past. This is a simple watch with no bells and whistles but that's exactly what I like about it. There are no annoying beeps or difficult to program displays, it goes from the box to your wrist in less than a minute.

The silicone is easy to care for and really comfortable. I don't wear it every day, that's not really my style, but I like wearing it when I'm out and about running errands or when I'm traveling. I get lots of compliments when I wear it and it goes with almost anything.

When I won I was concerned it was going to be too big as is the case with many unisex watches but when it arrived (wrapped in the cutest holiday paper) I was really happy to find that while definitely oversized, it didn't completely over power my tiny wrist.

I've carelessly flung my arm around and have bumped it against a few surfaces but it has yet to show a single scratch or any other signs of wear. It has easy to read numbers at 6, 9, and 12 with a magnified date box at the 3 position. It also has a rotating dial around the face that makes a pleasant little clicky sound.

The Sili Forever watch retails for about $110 and can be found at Macy's for $99. It comes in 10 colors including white, black, and silver. This watch would make a great gift for teens, your significant other, or anyone who's been shopping for a stylish and durable but affordable timepiece.
