Brunch at Trident

For years Trident Bookstore & Cafe has been one of my favorite places to stop in for brunch. Located on Newbury Street just up the block from Forever 21, Trident recently expanded their cafe area and added a second dining room upstairs. My boyfriend and I stopped in recently for brunch and it was delcious as always...
My boyfriend is a big fan of their fresh juices while I love their mimosas. You can pick from a variety of juices, the pineapple mimosa (pictured above) is my favorite.
Nicco likes to play the menu; he gets something different almost every time. This time it was a french toast breakfast sandwich with ham and egg. Before I could get the lens cap off he was already drowning it in syrup.
I on the other hand, am a creature of habit and I get the same thing every time; the lemon ricotta stuffed french toast with blueberry compote. It's pretty much heaven encased in challah bread.
If you've never been to Trident Cafe I encourage you to stop by and try this french toast! It's one of my all time favorite dishes. Trident serves breakfast all day and has a complete beer & wine menu available. If you're visting Boston this is one Newbury Street favorite you can't pass up.
