What I Wore: Proenza Schouler at the ICA

10:00 AM

Last week Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler visited the Institute of Contemporary Art here in Boston as a part of their Artist Talk series. The last session with Jason Wu was an absolute joy so I didn't hesitate to purchase a ticket for this session.

McCollough and Hernandez are not only handsome and stylish, but intelligent, personable, and funny. It was very cool to hear about their early careers in the fashion industry, run-ins with celebrities with large heads, and a fateful encounter Hernandez had with Anna Wintour herself. I love how passionate the duo is about preserving individual style.

With the temperatures cooling down I finally got to wear the vintage Oscar De La Renta skirt my blogger BFF Nicole from Writes Like A Girl sent me at the beginning of Spring. It's a gorgeous yellow/green/brown tweed and it fits like a dream! Thanks again, lady! I topped the outfit with my favorite green suede trench (last seen here).

It's funny, the last time I posted this top on the blog was with my other vintage Oscar De La Renta skirt...
