Treat Your Skin to Skoah

2:45 PM

It's easy to mistake Skoah for another Newbury Street product shop, but beyond the wall of products in their reception area are some of the most luxurious facials in the city. What makes Skoah different? Skoah considers themselves "personal trainers for your skin." They believe regular workouts keep your skin looking clear and healthy.

I stopped in a couple of weeks ago for their popular Fitskin facial and wasn't quite sure what to expect from my personal training session. When I arrived I was checked-in and waited just a few minutes for Becca, my personal trainer. She showed me into a dimly lit room and asked me about my skin and what products I use, and selected an array of Skoah products based on my responses.

She went to work cleansing, toning, and exfoliating my skin, followed by a gentle chemical exfoliating mask and hydrating mask. What I love most about Skoah is the luxurious integration of massage. While most spas leave you alone in the room to unwind during your mask treatments, my Fitskin facial featured a deeply relaxing arm and decolletage massage. Becca's hands were like magic; not only does she give great massages, but her extractions were not at all painful and didn't leave any signs of redness or irritation.

I emerged from the room 45 minutes later with my skin looking brighter, clearer, and ready to face the world. Becca sent me home with a detailed list of the products she used, which are all available for sale in the reception area as well as on their website. I fell in love with the exfoliating Aha Mask and the hydrating Hydradew Mask, and would love to book a future appointment with Becca. If you're looking for a way to keep your skin in the best shape possible, booking regular appointments at Skoah is the way to do it.

Would you ever treat yourself to a personal trainer for yourskin?
