Dreaming of Warmer Weather at the Boat Show!

12:58 PM

Okay, February is here! Which means Spring is right around the corner followed by SUMMER.  I don't know about you, but once Summer rolls around all I want is to be outside enjoying the sunshine for as long as possible. Last year I spent lots of time at the Rooftop at Revere and on the beaches of New England but this year I'd like to spend more time on the water boating.

Admittedly, I don't know much about boating. My sister-in-law has one and we always have so much fun boating on the lake together in the summer. It's one of the few summer activities that everyone loves and we all enjoy and agree on! It just so happens that the Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show is in town from February 11-19 and it's the perfect spot for a newbie like me to learn more about boating. There's something for everyone, newbies like me or experienced skippers welcome! Whether you're looking to buy a boat, join a boat club, or just scope out a weekend rental the Boat Show has all the information you're looking for.

In addition to the latest boat models, the Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show also has fishing demos (I hear there's a giant indoor tank with live fishing demos), over 800 models of boats, and hands-on exhibits and simulators. Early in the week, chef Jason Heard (Executive Chef and Owner at Coppersmith) will be on site to share cooking tips that combine his love for seafood and BBQ so everyone can enjoy a perfect day and delicious meal on the water.

Want to join me at the Boat Show? Tickets are just $15 and are on sale now! Plus, if you're following along on social media you'll have an exclusive opportunity to win 4 tickets to the show pus a $25 gift card to Coppersmith (can you say "roof deck cocktails"?)! See you there!
