New Business Cards, Who Dis?

2:17 PM

They arrived on my doorstep last week and they are flawless! No, not a new pair of shoes, my new business cards from Basic Invite! I heard about Basic Invite from my friend Amanda over at Prim and Propah Blog when I was seeking recommendations for sites for printing and loved that they offered a foil option and double thick matte paper options. If you're not sure about how something will look or want to feel their many paper options you can request custom samples before placing your final order. Over the next couple of weeks I drew up a few designs in InDesign as well as a gold foil option using their super simple online template and excitedly placed my order.

About ten days later they arrived on my doorstep and they turned out great! I simply could not decide on a design so I chose both a gold foil option on velvet matte paper and a custom design on premium shimmer paper. The gold foil has no graphic, is a bit more minimal and the raised foil and velvet matte paper gives it a very luxurious feel; The other has my full logo as it appears on my blog as well as social media graphics on the back and is printed on a pearly white paper. I also chose a minimal black and white design not pictured for my freelance services and potential clients.

I immediately shoved a stack of my shiny new business cards in my wallet and have been handing them out left and right since. I've received so many compliments on the gold foil cards, they're particularly eye catching! Beyond business cards and personalized business stationery, Basic Invite can print up almost anything you can dream-- announcements, invites, stationery. Next up, I'm thinking a batch of custom Thank You cards and of course, holiday photo cards when the time comes!
