It's the same thing every year, always around this time; that restlessness for Spring, warmer weather, and of course, cute shoes. It's like they're calling me from the depths of my closet waiting for the temperatures to climb just enough for them to reemerge. Sandals, fun stilettos, strappy flats, mules, open toed booties-- I miss them all!

We got a taste of those slightly warmer days during my most recent Boston staycation at The Colonnade, so I jumped at the chance to style these new open toed mules from the Naturalizer Spring '18 collection for an afternoon hanging out in the Back Bay.

Paired here with a chic pair of printed leggings these shoes are incredibly versatile! I'm pretty sure these Sloan mules are going to be a staple throughout the season. I love the clean white leather and the height and shape of the heel is perfect for a gal on the go. I'm looking forward to pairing them with swing dresses and sleeveless blazers for work as the Spring and Summer progress. Until then, I'll be layering up like I did with this look!

While I'm definitely more of a neutrals kind of gal, especially in the Fall and Winter, as Spring arrives you'll find me swapping my traditional uniform and black and grey for pops of color, denim shorts, colorful handbags, and fresh shoes like these! I added the metallic bag to brighten up the look a bit but I seriously can't wait for more days like this, and more ways to style these chic shoes!
